What this is

This policy covers the private publishing tool behind The Quiet Vigil, a YouTube channel of quiet sacred music. The tool is used by one person, the channel's owner, to manage that owner's own channel. It is not offered to the public.

What the tool accesses

With the owner's permission through Google sign-in, the tool can upload videos, set thumbnails, titles, and descriptions, add videos to playlists, and read the status of those uploads. It does this on the owner's own YouTube channel only.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information from visitors to this website. The site uses no cookies, analytics, or trackers. The only credential involved is a Google authorization token for the owner's own channel. It is kept on a private server and used only to run that publishing.

How information is used and shared

The token and the channel data the tool handles are used only to publish and organize the owner's videos. Nothing is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising, and no person reads it.

Google API Services User Data Policy

The tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access

Access can be removed at any time from the permissions page of the owner's Google Account. Removing it stops the tool from reaching the channel.
